A Louisiana man was killed and a Wisconsin man was injured in a two-vehicle accident Tuesday in Chicot County.

Earl Matthew Rosiere, II, 32 of Metairie, Louisiana, was killed on March 29 when his pickup truck struck a Peterbilt truck on U.S. 65 in Lake Village. The driver of the Peterbilt, James H. Brown, 48, of Madison, Wisconsin, was injured in the accident.

Rosiere was traveling north on U.S. 65 and crossed into the soutbound lane of the highway and struck the front driver’s side of the Peterbilt, according to an Arkansas State Police preliminary accident report.

The accident occurred at 3:10 a.m. at the railroad tracks on U.S. 65 in Lake Village. The weather was clear and the roadway was dry when the accident occurred.

Brown was taken to Chicot Memorial Medical Center in Lake Village. Rosiere was pronounced dead by Chicot County Coroner Skylar King.
