A parolee was arrested in Monticello last week after he allegedly attempted to pass a forged prescription at a Monticello pharmacy, according to a news release from the 10th Judicial District Drug Task Force.
Andre Thompson, 24, of Monticello, was arrested when he attempted to pass an altered prescription for Hydrocodone, said Lt. Jason Akers, supervising agent of the Drug Task Force.
Thompson likely will be charged with prescription fraud. He was on parole at the time of his arrest, according to the news release.
