Seized cash and drugs

An Ashley County man on parole for robbery, who is facing prior drug charges, turned himself in to authorities last week after state Probation and Parole personnel found 35 rocks of suspected crack cocaine, $4,560 in cash and a stolen computer at the man’s Crossett residence, according to Ashley County Detective Bobby Linder.

Linder said Carlos Edwards Jr., 37, of Crossett, is charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver and theft by receiving a computer stolen in a residential burglary about a month ago.
