Patricia Ward Case, 73, of Arkansas City, died on October 21, 2014 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff.
Mrs. Case worked for the United States Postal Service in Arkansas City and McGehee for many years. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and she loved to play cards, shop and travel. She was a member of Arkansas City United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Case was born in Chicot County on July 12, 1941 to the late Johnny and Annie Terry Ward.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Tim Case and her sister, Shirley Fulgham.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Myron Case of Arkansas City; a son, Russell Case of Monticello; three brothers, Jerry Ward, Jimmy Ward, and Joey Ward all of Collins; two sisters, Sue Gay of Halley and Linda Maddox of Cominto; and three grandchildren, Paige Case, Ryan Case, and Reid Case.
Visitation will be held October 23 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee. Funeral services will be held October 24 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Fred Gay officiating. Burial will follow at McGehee Cemetery.
