Patsy Noble McDougald, 77, of Hamburg died Sunday, January 29, 2017 at the Crossett Rehabilitation & Health Center.

Mrs. McDougald worked for the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service in Ashley County for 36 years and she was a member of the First Baptist Church. She loved to cook and was known for her homemade biscuits and she enjoyed gardening.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Roger McDougald in 2013; a grandson, Brent Alan McDougald; her parents, Horace and Effie Pennington Noble; two brothers, Glen and Gerald Noble and a sister, Pauline Ballott.

She is survived by three sons, Alan McDougald, Steven McDougald and Mark McDougald all of Fountain Hill; a sister, Bernice Nelms of Houston, Texas; a brother, Willard Noble of Hamburg; four grandchildren, Tabitha Freeman, Jana Hebert, Justin McDougald and Toby McDougald; six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on January 31 at 2 p.m. in the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bobby Pennington officiating. Burial will be in the Flat Creek Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Mark McDougald, Toby McDougald, Justin McDougald, Robert Bowden, Michael Oliver and Harry Joe Tumlison. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Arkansas, 201 Markham Center Drive, Little Rock, AR 72205.

Visitation will be January 30 from 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home.
