Paula Hathaway Goyne, 82, of Hamburg died on August 8, 2020 at her residence.
She was born and raised in Hamburg and was a 1956 graduate of Hamburg High School. She was a former resident of Branson, Missouri and Alexandria, Louisiana who moved back to Hamburg four years ago.
Mrs. Goyne was a mail carrier in Hamburg for a number of years and she worked as a craftsman at the Engler Block in Branson, Missouri. She was a member of the Hot Springs Village First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther E. Goyne, 20 days ago, and her parents, Otto and Pauline Roark Hathaway.
She is survived by three sons, Steven Harriman and wife, Stacey, of Hamburg, Corey Harriman and wife, Candace, of Fort Worth, Texas and Craig Harriman and wife, Misty, of Southlake, Texas; a stepson, Stephan Goyne and wife, Lindsey, of San Francisco, California; a sister, Zandra Cheeseman and husband, Kyle, of West Monroe, Louisiana; ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 11, at the Hamburg Cemetery with Rev. Ty Danielson officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 9:45-10 a.m. at the cemetery prior to the service.
