Pearl Tucker Brown, 94, passed away on November 23, 2016 at The Woods Nursing and Rehab in Monticello.

She was born December 20, 1921 to the late James Norman Tucker and Sallie Yarbourgh Tucker.

Mrs. Brown was retired from Burlington Industries and a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie J. Brown; one son, Wayne Brown; three daughters, Barbara Wood, Carolyn Brown and Charlotte Brown; four grandchildren, Jonathan Cox, Michael Glen Woods, Loy Dean Cox and Denita Carol Wood; one great grandson, Josh Wells; two brothers, Ray and Howard Tucker; and her step-mother.

Survivors include four sisters, Mary Norsworthy, Eva Sissell, Clara Chase and Charlene Heidins; four grandchildren, Terry Hodges, Consuelo London, Tammy London and Stacy London; and one great granddaughter, Dominique Winger.

Services will be held on November 26 at 2 p.m. at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. prior to the service.
