A McGehee pedestrian was killed Tuesday night when he was struck by a vehicle while crossing U.S. 65 in McGehee, according to a State Police report.

James W. Mott, 49, of McGehee, was walking east across U.S. 65 toward the northbound lanes when he was struck by a  northbound 1992 Jeep driven by Earl R. Nicholson Jr., 30, also of McGehee, according to State Police.

Nicholson was not injured.

The accident occurred at about 8:45 p.m.
