Peggy Sue Hogue, 55, of McGehee, died on November 9, 2014 at University of Arkansas Medical Science in Little Rock.
A former Walmart employee, Mrs. Hogue was very active and involved in Children’s Miracle Network. She was a very loving and forgiving person who enjoyed helping people. Her pastor, Rev. Jason Martin said that when he thinks of the scripture “Love the Lord God with all your heart, mind and soul and love your neighbor as yourself,” he thinks of Peggy. She was a member of Victory Covenant Church.
She was born at Dermott on April 6, 1959 to George C. and Hydle Bell Hillman Keeling.
Survivors include her husband, Rickie Hogue of McGehee; a son, William Hogue and wife Talitha of McGehee; parents, George C. and Hydle Bell Hillman Keeling of McGehee; a brother, George L. Keeling of Jonesboro; two sisters, Dorothy Lynn Patterson of Memphis, Tennessee and Jean Lane of Hamburg; and two grandchildren, Zechariah Hogue and Samuel Hogue.
Visitation is November 12 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee. Funeral services will be held on November 13 at 10 a.m. Victory Covenant Church in McGehee, with Revs. Jason Martin and Rev. Kenny Hogue officiating. Burial will be at the Keeling Family Cemetery in McArthur, Arkansas.
