Peggy Sue Quimby Bowman, 90, of Warren, died on December 8, 2015 at John R. Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado.

She was a retired interior decorator, former owner/operator of Highway Contract Mail, served 19 years as president of the Ladies Auxillary of National Star Route Mail Carries Association and a member of First Baptist Church since 1960. She was passionate about genealogy.

Mrs. Bowman was born November 28, 1925, at Hermitage, and was the daughter of the late Selvin T. Quimby and Mary Lansdale Quimby.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Felton Bowman; a sister, Emogene Quimby; a brother, Travis Quimby; and a great grandchild Myra Fry.

Survivors are two sons, Nick Bowman and his wife Linda of Monroe, Louisiana, and Bobby F. Bowman and his wife Virginia of Hamburg; a daughter, Sherrilyn Jean Weaver of Crossett; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held on December 10 at 1:30 p.m. at Frazer’s Funeral Home with Rev. Wayman Mann and Joe Don Greenwood officiating.

Pallbearers are Benjamin Felton Bowman, II., David Wayne Weaver, Christopher Weaver, Benjamin Felton Bowman, III., Michael Logan Weaver and Mickey Cathey. Honorary pallbearer is Dr. Joe H. Wharton.
