Perry Lee Reed, 65, of Monticello, died June 8, 2020.
He was born July 13, 1954, to the late Foy Lee “Pete” and Verbie Culp Reed.
Mr. Reed loved being outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He could cook a mean pot of beans, took pride in doing Heidi’s laundry and taking care of Brandy’s yard as well as giving them both a hard time.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Foy Lee “Pete” and Verbie Culp Reed; his wife, Scotty Dawn Reed; one son, Matthew “Matt” Durham; five brothers, Walter Wayne Reed, Don Edward Reed, Shelby Warren Reed, William Steve Reed and Michael Foy Reed; three sisters, Sherry Ann Kramaz, Patricia Gayle Wilson and Linda Faye Yelvington.
Perry is survived by his son, Michael Seavers and wife Jordan; three daughters, Brandy Tomboli and husband Joey, and Heidi Reed and husband Dillon Aldy, and Hayley Seavers Roper and husband Tyke; twelve grandchildren, Jake Tomboli, Josie Tomboli, Joshua Tomboli, Arianna Fuller, Evie Marlow, Allison Durham, Elijah Durham, Isaiah Durham, Raylee Reed, Ruthie Reed, Ryder Reed and Rein Reed; one sister Marilyn Webb, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Graveside services will be Saturday, June 13, at 10 a.m. in Lone Sassafras Cemetery at Ladelle (Drew County).
