Peter Michael Kiefhaber, 62, of Star City, died on June 9, 2016 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock.
He was a member of Fellowship Bible Church in Star City, where he served as pastor. He was the owner of Kiefhaber’s Heating and Air, served on the Star City City Council, and was a member of the Star City Chamber of Commerce, where he was past president and a former Man of the Year.
He was born June 3, 1954 in Buffalo, New York to the late Henry Peter and Janet Louise Gromacki Kiefhaber.
Mr. Kiefhaber graduated from Winnetonka High School in Kansas City, Missouri, attended Andersonville Bible Seminary and studied biblical counseling at Louisiana Baptist College, where he earned his doctorate.
Survivors include his wife, Rita Lunsford Kiefhaber of Star City; three sons, Scott (Stephanie) Kiefhaber, Jason (Deborah) Kiefhaber and Caleb (Chelsea) Kiefhaber, all of Star City; a sister, Karen Louise Rubin of Tucson, Arizona; and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on June 13 at 10 a.m. at Griffin Funeral Home in Star City. Bros. Johnny Carter, Mike Manning and Blake Kiefhaber will officiate. Burial will be at Drake Cemetery. Visitation is June 12 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are be B.J. Duvall, Charles Capps, Justin Fowler, Brian Pickens, John Riker and Terry Stinson. Bradley.
