Phillip Alan Deal, 59, of Crossett, died Monday, February 22, 2016 at his residence.
He owned and operated Phillip Deal Painting for the past 40 years and was a 1975 graduate of Crossett High School.
Mr. Deal was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed being in the woods, hunting and caring for his dogs. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a dear friend to many and valued his friendships that he had made throughout the years.
He is preceded in death by his father, Harold Alan Deal.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, JoAnn Cameron Deal; a son, Mitchell Alan Deal and wife, Jessica; his mother, Vera Van Gellekom Deal all of Crossett; two sisters, Ciska Pesaresi of Lake Village and Becky Hopper of Crossett and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are February 24 at 10 a.m. at the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home Chapel with Bros. David Newberry and Keith Boseman officiating. Burial will be in the Hamburg Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Wayne “Wesley” Johnson, Jason Roberts, Bill Lochala, Bimbo Husky, Glen Hamilton and Greg Noble. Honorary pallbearers are Harold Roberts, Gregory “Puppy” Hampton, Charlie Noble, Jesse Lochala, Eddie Courson and Phillip Jones.
