Phillip Glen Fleming, 58, of Gillett, passed away October 8, 2020.
He was born in Dermott on February 14, 1962 and was the the son of Richard “Dick” Fleming and Cornelia Phillips Fleming. His father preceded him in death.
Mr. Fleming was a member of First United Methodist Church of Dumas. He served on the Catfish Farmers of America Board of Directors and was the 2017 Catfish Farmer of the Year in Arkansas.
Mr. Fleming was owner of Cajun Connection in Dumas and owner of Fleming Fisheries, also in Dumas.
Survivors are his wife, Susan Fleming of Gillett; his mother, Cornelia Fleming of Bella Vista; one son, Andrew Phillip Fleming of Dumas; two daughters, Amber Fleming (Chase) Adams of Gillett and Anna Elizabeth Fleming of Gillett; one brother, Paul Alan Fleming of Scott; a sister, Kimberly Ann Johnston of Bentonville; and three grandchildren, Kennan Myles Clawson, Presley and Kane Adams.
Visitation will be held Sunday, October 11, from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Griffin Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be held Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at Jefferson Cemetery with Dr. Tandy Hanson officiating.
