A Pine Bluff man won $1.25 million over the last two weeks playing the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery. Billy Bealer claimed a $1 million winning ticket Tuesday, just two weeks after claiming a $250,000 Natural State Jackpot prize.
Bealer won the $1 million by playing a $20 instant scratch off ticket called $1 Million Riches, purchased at Shell Food Mart in Pine Bluff. He bought the Natural State Jackpot prize ticket at the 28th Street Citgo, also in Pine Bluff.
Bealer told lottery officials he paid bills with the $250,000 prize, so he’s going to invest and save the $1 million prize winnings.
Lottery officials said there are still two $1 million top prizes remaining in the $1 Million Riches game. The Natural State Jackpot game is an Arkansas-only draw game. Tickets are $1 and drawings are held Monday through Saturday at 8 p.m.
Net proceeds from the Arkansas Lottery fund college scholarships for Arkansas students at in-state colleges and universities.
