Police have identified a woman suspected of breaking into vehicles and stealing credit cards in Monticello and McGehee.
The woman is identified as Frelandra Womack, a 31-year-old black female whose last known address is 1900 Reservoir Road Little Rock, according to a news release from the Monticello Police Department.
Womack, according to the news release, has lengthy history of fraud and theft. She is currently on a $35,000 bond for similar offenses in Pulaski County. She failed to appear in court last week on those charges.
The Monticello, Little Rock, Sherwood and McGehee police departments worked together to identify the woman. Some of the prepaid visas purchased in Monticello were used in Pulaski County and video surveillance from several businesses show what is believed to be the same suspect.
Circuit Judge Teresa French issued a warrant for her arrest for fraudulent use of a credit card (more than $5,000) and eight counts theft by receiving. All are felonies. More charges are expected. Bond was set at $50,000.
