Police are searching for Lorenzo Deon Williams, one of two men who escaped Tuesday night from the Dumas jail.
Williams,34, was being held at the jail on a parole violation. His criminal history includes aggravated residential burglary, possession of a firearm by certain persons, possession of drug paraphernalia, aggravated assault, discharging a firearm in city limits and criminal mischief, according to a news release.
Police believe Williams may be headed to nearby McGehee or to Detroit, Michigan.
The other escapee, Billy Walls, was captured while fleeing in a stolen vehicle.
