Raymond Ray McBride, Sr., 72, of Lake Village, September. 2, 2016 at Chicot Memorial Hospital in Lake Village.
A celebration of Mr. McBride’s life will be held on September 7, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Bayou Mason Baptist Church in Lake Village. Burial will be at Lake Village City Cemetery.
Mr. McBride was born October 18, 1943 in Lake Village to Claude and Ruth McBride. He was the president of McBride Investments Inc., a self employed engineer and CEO of Sun-Ray Testing International Inc., and a member of Bayou Mason Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.
He loved the Lord and was a Gideon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Ruth McBride; the mother of his children, Susan L. McBride; his son, Wayne McBride, five brothers, Clyde McBride, Tommy McBride, Armond “Mac” McBride, Claude McBride and William “Billy” McBride who was the first pastor of Bayou Mason Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Susan Rae McBride of Lake Village; his son and daughter in law, Raymond McBride Jr. and Paula of Hensley; his daughter, Kimberly Lynn McBride Tuttle of Houston, Texas; his sisters-in-law, June McBride of Riverside California and Janet McBride Ingram of Rockwall, Texas and Jackie McBride of West Monroe, Louisiana; 12 grandchildren, Nicole Lemaster, Amanda Morris, Heather Hernandez, Kirsten Graybill, Raymond Ray McBride III, Dillon McBride, Ashley Mitchell, Alec McBride, Tristan McBride, Ethan McBride, Austin McBride, Madison McBride; several great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Gideons International.
Rev. Tom Stringfellow, Rev. Gary Naron & Rev. Michael Ivey will officiate the services.
