Renford Napoleon “Brother” Chrismond, Jr., 80, of Lake Village, formerly of Greenwood, Mississippi, died on June 15, 2018.15
He was a graduate of Humpherys County High School and attended Mississippi State University. He also served in the U.S Marine Corps and retired as a Civil engineer for the U. S. Corp. of Engineers. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, of Greenwood, Mississippi.
Mr. Chrismond was born on October 11, 1937 and was the son of the late R.N. and Flora Chrismond.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Tony Hodges; a daughter, Terry Hodges Adkins; and sister, Bobbie C. Vaughan.
He is survived by his wife, Claudine Chrismond; two daughters, Donna Angel and husband Sam of Lake Village and Rhonda Nicholson and husband Phillip of Bothell, Washington; four sisters, Betty C. Johnson of Greenwood, Carolyn C. Nix of Winona, Mississippi, Brenda C. Hamby of Eupora, Mississippi, and Beverly C. Tindall of Greenwood, Mississippi. Nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Monday, June 18 at 10 a.m. at Holy Innocents Cemetery in Lake Village with Bro. Bo Nix and Bro. Tim Channault officiating.
Arrangements are by Bishop-King Funeral Home of Lake Village.
