Richard Wayne Perry, 72, of Warren, went to be with the Lord on October 7, 2019.
He was born on August 28, 1947 in Bradley County to the late Daniel A. Perry and Claudia V. Perry.
Mr. Perry was a retired painter who operated Perry’s Paint Company for 40 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Korea, where he earned the Korean Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal for his tour on the DMZ. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church, a devout Christian and a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Clara Perry Williams.
Survivors include the love of his life and wife, Joanie Grider Perry; sons, Jeffery Shane Perry and wife, Megan, of Utah, Jeremy Grider and wife Shelly of Cabot, Chris Grider and wife Kelly of Camden; two adopted sons, Gage Reynolds and Hayden Farrell both of Warren; a daughter, Chasidy Carrington and husband, Johnny of Pine Bluff; brothers, Daniel Perry and wife, Brenda, Billy Jack Perry and wife, Judy, and Sam Perry, all of Warren; a sister, Jean O’Neil and husband, Robert, of McKinney, Texas; nine grandchildren, Todd Grider, Andrew Grider, R.D. Reynolds and wife Rachel, Ryan Carrington, Chance Carrington, Madison Grider and Addisen Perry, Jager Perry and Bridger Perry.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, at Frazer’s Funeral Home in Warren. Burial will be at Reaves Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wedneday, October 9 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
