Ricky James Dunnahoe, 69, of Kelso, Arkansas, passed away August 2, 2021, in Little Rock.
He was born in Dermott on August 2, 1952, to James C. “Jake” and Wilma Dunnahoe.
Mr. Dunnahoe was a 1970 graduate of Desha Central High School and attended Arkansas State University in Jonesboro for a couple of years.
He was a lifetime farmer and enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports, spending time by the pond he built, and traveling around the country with his sister, Cathy. He was a member of First Baptist Church of McGehee, and went on annual mission trips to Honduras with his church group. Ricky loved his community and was always quick to lend a helping hand.
Survivors include his daughter, Carrie (Ronnie) Provence of Morrow; son, Chris (Brandy) Dunnahoe of Kelso; sister, Cathy Dunn of Conway; grandchildren, Ryan Provence, Jacey Provence, and Gabe Dunnahoe; nieces, Jacqueline Dunn of Jensen Beach, Florida and Christa (Stephen) Gray of San Antonio, Texas; six great nieces and nephews, Jagger, Parker, Piper, Lucy, Lila and Sonny.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 6, from 5 p.m until 7 p.m. at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 7, at Kelso Baptist Church in Kelso with Rev. Ben White and Rev. David Brown officiating. Burial will be at Jefferson Cemetery in Winchester.
