Robbie Keron Hickam Hawkins, 73, of the Green Hill community in Drew County, passed away August 18, 2014 at her home.
She was a member of Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church and retired from Sunny Acres Nursing Home after working as an administrator for 39 years.
Mrs. Hawkins was born on July 3, 1941 at Green Hill and was the daughter of the late Charlie Hickam and Doris Berryman Hickam.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Carlene Peebles; two brothers, Willard Hickam and Floyd Hickam; and her ex-husband Douglas Hawkins.
Survivors include three sons, Randy Hawkins and wife, Sheila, from Monticello, Steven Hawkins and wife, Kathy, of Bogata, Texas, and Mark Hawkins and wife Lisa of Monticello; two brothers, Billy Hickam of Wilmar and Rev. Wilson Hickam of Biddeford, Maine; a sister, Mary Bellafatto of Naples, Florida; 11 grandchildren, Stephanie Wright and Paige Caldwell both of Monticello, Ryan Hawkins, Koren Allen, Seth Hawkins, Seton Hawkins, Heather Williams, Haley English and Hana Hawkins of Bogata, Texas, Hillary Kozuch of Austin, Texas and Savannah Stark of Monticello; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is August 19 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Stephenson Dearman Funeral Home in Monticello. Funeral services will be held August 20 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at at Green Hill Cemetery in Drew County.
