Robert Lee Willingham, 73, of Dermott, passed away on October 17, 2015.
He was a 1960 graduate of Tillar High School and attended Pearl River Junior College in Poplarville, Mississippi for two years before going to Mississippi State University in Starkville.
Mr. Willingham worked for Burlington Industries for 34 years and the Drew County Road Department for 13 years before retiring. He also farmed until 1978.
He served in the Army National Guard for six years and was a member of Dermott Baptist Church where he was a deacon. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Mr. Willingham was born at Stewart, Mississippi on May 19, 1942 and was the son of the late Herbert C. and Anna Belle Macon Willingham.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Davis Willingham of Dermott; brother, Bill Willingham and his wife Lucy Ann of Eupora, Mississippi; mother-in-law, Dorothy Davis of Monticello; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Octoer 20 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee.
Funeral services will be held on October 21 at 2 p.m. at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee with Revs. Billy George West and Kenny Culpepper officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery at Rye.
