Roger Keith Craig, 61, of Crossett, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at the Ashley County Medical Center in Crossett.

Mr. Craig was a native and lifelong resident of Crossett. He graduated from Fountain Hill High School in 1973 and worked for the Georgia-Pacific Paper Mill for 36 years, retiring in 2003. He was a former member of the Crossett Rescue Unit for more than 20 years and a member of the Hollis Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. He was an avid fisherman and loved to grill for his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bro. Roy and Edith Mae Willis Craig and a brother, David Craig.

He is survived by his daughters, Amanda Craig and Angie Craig both of Crossett and Jennifer Haen and husband, Michael, of Hamburg; a son, Brad Howie of Crossett; a brother, John Paul Craig and wife, Rita, of Longview; a sister, Patricia Martin and husband, Jimmy, of Hamburg and five grandchildren Amber, Austin, Jase, Helen and Michael Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 13, at Hollis Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Jerry Carter and Bro. Don Justice officiating. Burial will be in the Hollis Chapel Memory Garden. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Friday at Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home.
