Rosa Palmerin, 64, of Star City, died on July 27, 2017 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff.
She was born on August 30, 1952 in Michoacan, Mexico to the late Francisco Aguilar and Esperanza Hernandez. She was a member of St. Justin’s Catholic Church in Star City and a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Constantino Palmerin of Star City; five sons, Ignacio Palmerin of Altheimer, Mario Palmerin and Octavio Palmerin, both of Star City, Fernando Palmerin of Pine Bluff and Ramiro Palmerin of Star City; five daughters, Lucila Palmerin of Star City, Janneth Palmerin of Altheimer, Angelica Palmerin and Catalina Palmerin, both of Star City and Monica Palmerin of Altheimer; eight brothers, Cresenciano Aguilar, Norberto Aguilar, Rojelio Aguilar, Trinidad Aguilar, Manuel Aguilar, Juaquin Aguilar, all of Michoacan, Mexico, and Matias Aguilar and Francisco Aguilar, both of California; sister, Martha Aguilar of Michoacan, Mexico and 23 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 30 at 2 p.m. at Griffin Funeral Chapel with Father SiPriano officiating. A visitation/Rosary will be held on Saturday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Grady Cemetery.
