Rosa Mae “Rose” Lincoln, 72, of Crossett, died October 23, 2013 at her residence.

She was a lifelong resident of Crossett, a retiree of Georgia Pacific Plywood Mill, and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church Crossett (Camp Community).

She was preceded in death by her son, Lawrence Brown; one grandson, Damon Lincoln; her parents, Preston and Maxine Burks Girtman; and one sister, Joyce Thornton. Rose enjoyed reading, going to church and crocheting. She was an Eastern Star, a foster grandparent and a member of Singing Union #2.

She is survived by two sons, Anthony Lincoln and Willie Lincoln, Jr. (Glenora) all of Crossett; three daughters: Pamela Vaughn (Billy), Felicia Daniels (James), Sylvia Champion (Wallace) all of Crossett; four brothers: James Girtman of Oakland, Calif. Nathan Girtman & Preston Girtman, Jr., both of Crossett; Willie Girtman of New York; four sisters: Melba Wright (Oliver), Carolyn Davis, Juanita Gibbs (Billy) and Helen Tucker all of Crossett; eighteen grandchildren, thirty-seven great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Funeral services are October 29, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. James Green, officiating. Pallbearers are Ken Tolefree, Elvin Gibbs, Bruce Wright, Nathan Girtman, Leroy Toney and Ray Charles Tucker. Honorary pallbearers are grandsons. Burial will be in Nimmons Cemetery..
