Rudy Alan Wrzesinski, 71, of Lake Village, passed away on October 31, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family and friends.
He was a graduate of Lakeside High School in Lake Village. He served as a Gideon Speaker with the Delta Gideon Camp and was a long time member of the Lake Village Lions Club. Mr. Wrzesinski formerly worked for Farm Equipment/Chicot Implement, now Arkansas AG. After he retired, he owned and operated Cross Equipment Company. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He never met a stranger and loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of Lake Village Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.
Mr. Wrzesinski was born on October 29, 1945 at Montrose and was the son of the late Rudolph M. and Allene Woods Wrzesinski.
He is survived by his wife, Jill Beavers Wrzesinski; sons, Jeremy (Christi) Wrzesinski of Lake Village and Bryce Wrzesinski of Little Rock; brothers, Robert “Vonnie” Thomason of Montrose, and Rodney “Hoss” (Dee) Thomason of White Hall; granddaughters, Abby Elizabeth, Mary Emily, and Riley Allene Wrzesinski.
Visitation will be held on November 2 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Lake Village Baptist Church in Lake Village. Funeral Services will be held on November 3 at 11 a.m. at Lake Village Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Chennault officiating. Burial will follow at Portland Cemetery in Portland.
