Sam K. Elinburg, Sr., 68, of Watson died on December 11, 2015.

He was a Christian member of Tillar Trinity Pentecost Holiness Church. He retired from Scott Tractor Company, where he was a mechanic. He served in the United States Army during Vietnam.

Mr. Elinburg was born March 1, 1947 in Union, Mississippi and was the son of the late W.T. Elinburg and Ava Pauline Ivy Elinburg.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three brothers, Wayne Elinburg, W.G. Elinburg and Tommy Elinburg.

Survivors are his wife, Brenda Elinburg of Watson; four sons, Sam Elinburg, Jr. of Watson, Jeff (Karrie) Elinburg of Fort Rucker, Alabama, Danny (Ginger) Elinburg of Bee Branch, Arkansas and Steve Elinburg of Watson; eight grandchildren, one great grandchild; two brothers, John (Dora) Elinburg of Caraway, Arkansas, and Mike (Linda) Elinburg of Bee Branch, Arkansas and one sister, Wilma Kirk of Bee Branch, Arkansas.

Visitation is December 13 from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. Griffin Funeral Home in Dumas. Services will be held on December 14 at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Elinburg family cemetery with Rev. Frankie Hawkins officiating.
