Sarah Willene Ozment, 83, of Banks, died on April 1, 2018, at her home.

She was born on May 23, 1934, in Red Level, Alabama and was the daughter of the late Labe Odom and Ella Colvin Odom.

She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, a homemaker who loved sewing, quilting, crocheting, canning, gardening, fishing, camping trips and spending time with her family. She was a caregiver for those in need.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lavelle Ozment who died on March 23, 2018; a son, Danny Ozment; a brother, Jimmy Odom; and sisters, Louise Crawford, Erlene Gordon, Barbara Clark, Jean Grigeritz, and Joan Smith.

Survivors are a son, Joey Ozment of Banks; two daughters, April Meadows of Banks and Mary Cargile of New Edinburg; four grandchildren, Jason Reep of New Edinburg, Bobby Ozment of Kingsland, Amber Reep Spears of New Edinburg and Megan Cargile of New Edinburg; and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 4 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Frazer’s Funeral Home in Warren.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 5, at 2 p.m. at McFarland Cemetery in Banks.
