The Star City High School FBLA won first place with their window painting of A Christmas Story in the school’s 2nd annual Christmas window painting contest sponsored by the Art Club.

Student organizations painted Christmas images on the windows of the high school. Fifteen student organizations competed and the top three were awarded cash prizes. The FBLA was awarded a $75 cash prize for first place. The SCHS Band was awarded a $50 cash price for second place and JAG was awarded a $25 cash prize for third place.

The 15 organization competing in the contest were the FBLA, Band, JAG, TSA & Robotics, Rocket Staff, Beta Club, Cheerleaders, Student Council, Tennis, Varsity Choir, Chamber Choir, FCCLA, FFA, HOSA, Soccer, and Football.

As the sponsor of the contest, the Art Club painted a window but did not compete.

The Art Club sponsored the event in order to promote art and Christmas spirit. Larger images of the winning window paintings are below:
