Four scouts from Monticello Boy Scout Troop 67 were awarded their Eagle Scout rank on Sunday, February 4, during a Court of Honor Ceremony at First Methodist Church Family Life Center.

Joey Holland, 16, Noah Minchew, 17, Cole Nash, 17, and Caleb Whitehurst, 16, received their Eagle badge and pin in a ceremony led by Scoutmaster Terry Crook.

All four boys have received the highest advancement rank in Scouting by completing requirements of leadership, service, and outdoor skills. These four boys crossed over from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts together in February 2012 and have since completed over 21 merit badges including First Aid; Communications; Citizenship of the Community, Nation, and World; Personal Management, Family Life, and Emergency Preparedness. They have also camped over 100 nights at local, district, and national scouting events.
