The Southeast Arkansas Community Action Corporation will conduct a community meeting to elect board members for the Drew County elected official sector and low income sector positions on the SEACAC board of directors.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 9, at 6 p.m. at the old Wilmar school building, located on U.S. Highway 278 West in Wilmar.

A background in finance, early childhood education, or law is preferred for the elected official sector.

The public is encouraged to attend.

SEACAC serves Ashley, Bradley, Chicot, Desha and Drew counties in Southeast Arkansas.

SEACAC follows Titles VI and VII of the Civil Right Act and is operated, managed, and delivers services without regard to age, religion, disability, political affiliation, veteran status, sex, race, color or national origin.
