The Seark Concert Association will present the Barlow Brothers Band at an “under the stars” concert Saturday evening at 7 p.m. on the lawn of the University of Arkansas at Monticello’s Fine Art Center.
The band plays classic hits, Motown, R&B, southern rock and pure funk. They cover artists such as James Brown, George Jones, the Temptations, ZZ Top, Wilson Pickett, Kool and the Gang, Bob Seger, B.B. King, Jimmy Buffett, Joe Cocker, Otis Redding, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Ray Charles, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and the Commodores, as well as current hits.
Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for children. There is no charge for children under the age of 6 or UAM students with a valid ID. Tickets may be purchased in advance by calling 460-1412 or at the Fine Arts Center the evening of the concert. Guests may bring lawn chairs or blankets. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be held inside the Fine Arts Center.
