Monticello offensive lineman Kameron Smith has been selected as Seark Today’s Player of the Week for leading the way for the Billies to rush for 350 yards in a 28-21 win over Helen-West Helena Friday night.

The 175-pound left guard opened holes for the running backs on offense and had six tackles, three for a loss, on defense.

“What impresses me most about Kameron is his willingness and guts to block guys that outweigh him by 100 pounds,” said Monticello Coach Greg Tiner. “He could play a lot of different positions but we need him there (on the offensive line) and he’s willing to do it.” Smith also has a 4.0 grade point average.
