Thunderstorms are expected in Southeast Arkansas, beginning Tuesday night, with the threat increasing on Wednesday.

Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible Tuesday night and Wednesday for a large part of Arkansas, including Bradley, Cleveland, Desha, Drew and Lincoln counties, in Southeast Arkansas. Large hail and damaging winds will be the main threats. By Wednesday afternoon all modes of severe weather will be possible, according to the National Weather Service in Little Rock.

Severe thunderstorms, capable of damaging wind gusts, hail to golf ball size, and tornadoes, are possible tonight through early Wednesday morning. The greatest severe weather potential through early Wednesday morning will be across portions of southeast Arkansas, northwest Mississippi, northeast Louisiana. On Wednesday afternoon and evening, multiple rounds of severe weather are expected, with the potential for significant severe weather including strong long track tornadoes, hail up to baseball size, and damaging wind gusts.
