Sharon Ashley Rice, 68, of Warren, died on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at the Hospice Home Care in Little Rock, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
She was employed at the Bradley County Medical Center for 17 years, was a member of Orion Missionary Baptist Church and a graduate of the Sheridan Public Schools.
She was born October 7, 1948 in Little Rock and was the daughter of Marie Owen Ashley of Redfield and the late Jean Ray Ashley.
She was also proceeded in death by her husband Leonard Rice who passed away March 7, 2015.
Survivors are her mother, Jean Ashley Rice; two sons, Marcus Brown and wife Martha of Fairview, Tennessee and James Brown and wife Tiffany of Gallatin, Tennessee; a brother, Kenneth Ray Ashley and wife Libby of Redfield; two sisters, Gail Lewis and husband Ron of Redfield and Beverley Cloninger of Beebe; a grandchild, Anna Marie Brown of Fairview, Tennessee; a former husband, James Larry Brown and wife Jane of Burns, Tennessee.
Funeral services will be held on March 6 at 1:30 p.m. at Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Jim Ensley officiating. Burial will be at Union Cemetery at Rye by Frazer’s Funeral Home of Warren.
Pallberers were Eric Ware, Jeremy Rook, Matt Cleminger, Adam Ashley, Andy Ashley, and Grady Lasiter.
