Shiela Quinn Barnett, 79, of Monticello, passed away on May 19, 2018 at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello.
She was the widow of Robert W. Barnett, retired from Chase Bag and was of the Pentecostal faith. She was the most loving mother, grandmother and aunt that we were so blessed to have. She was a loving mother, grandmother and aunt who loved cooking, gardening and was an avid reader. She will be truly missed by all who were so blessed to have known her.
She was born October 30, 1938 in Sparks, Oklahoma to the late Lynvil Quinn and Edna Bernice Searcy Quinn.
Survivors include three sons, Richard Boysen and wife, Becky, of Monticello, Boyd Noles of Monticello and Ricky Noles and wife, Rita, of Dumas; one brother, Glen Quinn and wife Laurna of Visalia, California; four sisters, Marie Renfro of Farmerville, California, Nelda Carley of Ivanhoe, California, Lela Carley and husband Talbert of Visalia, California and Arlene Forrester of Oklahoma; seven grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation is Tuesday, May 22 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home in Monticello. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 23 at 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rash Cemetery.
