The Southeast Arkansas Concert Association has announced its proposed 2012-2013 season schedule which includes ballet, orchestra, and an evening with Rob Shrock, a native of Monticello who is the music director and pianist for pop/soul icon Dionne Warwick and was the long-time keyboardist, arranger and music director for legendary composer Burt Bacharach. Shrock, formerly Robbie Shirakbari, is originally from Monticello. The schedule:

Three performances: 7:00 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday
Featuring area children dancing the Nutcracker Suite led by a professional ballerina for Act I, then area choirs & orchestra performing Christmas selections for Act II. SING, DANCE REJOICE: A Christmas Gift to Southeast Arkansas.
7 p.m. – Ballet Arkansas “Beyond Category”
Show starts at 7:30.
3 p.m. – Pine Bluff Symphony Orchestra
An Evening With Rob Shrock featuring the former Robbie Shirakbari.

Putting on the Ritz Dinner Theatre
Although this is not considered part of the regular season, we wanted you to know about this pretty fabulous twist to our Annual Membership Dinner. Christian Feazell, Greg Pearson, Haley Greer, area dancers and friends.
Performances are held at the University of Arkansas at Monticello Fine Arts Center. Ticket prices are $15 for adults (18 years and older) and $5 for students (13-17 years). Children under the age of 13 are admitted free and University of Arkansas at Monticello students are admitted free with a student identification.
