At 5:50 p.m. the National Weather Service Prediction Center in Norman, Oklahoma issued a tornado watch for all of Southeast Arkansas except Ashley and Chicot counties.
The watch is in effect until 2 a.m.
Southeast Arkansas is also under flash flood watch.
There have been numerous tornadoes, severe thunderstorms and flash floods today in Texas and Oklahoma.
The first tornado warning today in Arkansas was issued at 6:15 p.m. for the west central part of the state.
