The Southeast Arkansas TEA Party on Saturday hosted a sportsman’s rally celebrating the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
The event featured an auction, door prizes, speakers, and live music provided by Ward Davis. Fourth District Congressional candidates Gene Jeffress and Tom Cotton, pictured left, were among the speakers who told the group what the amendment meant to them.
Jeffress, holding props (a box with deer antlers and a gun) challenged Cotton, asking him if he had an Arkansas hunting license and made reference to a “paper” he claims Cotton wrote. An event organizer quickly advised Jeffress the event was a celebration of the 2nd amendment, not a partisan political event.
Jeffress and Cotton are pictured here leaving the stage after their speeches.
