Star City High School seniors Dylan Bitely and Sydney Hill were named finalists in Representative Rick Crawford’s Congressional Art Competition.

Bitely was named a finalist in the painting category and Hill was named a finalist in the photography category.

Star City High School seniors Dakota Hogue, Sydney Hill, and Dylan Bitely had artwork entered in U.S. Rep. Rick Crawford’s Congressional Art Competition. Hill and Bitely were named finalists.

The 2017 Congressional Art Competition included over 200 entries from over 20 schools in Arkansas’ First Congressional District. The entries can be viewed on Representative Rick Crawford’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/RepRickCrawford.

Other Star City High School students with artwork entered in the competition include Maryann Gossage, 10th grade; Dakota Hogue, 12th grade; Autumn Jackson, 9th grade; Alexia Lams, 9th grade; Courtney Malone, 11th grade; Madeline Nix, 10th grade; Karley Spivey, 10th grade; Alek Taylor, 10th grade; Ravyn Ward, 10th grade; and Sadie Whaley, 9th grade.

The students are under the instruction of art teacher Roger Darren High.
