This 1,200-pound steer will be raffled at the 2014 Drew County Log-A-Load for Kids fundraiser for Arkansas Children’s Hospital on August 2 at the University of Arkansas at Monticello Gibson Center gymnasium.
The steer was donated by Steve and Angie Gentry. Basic processing will be donated by Riggan and Sons Custom Slaughtering. A freezer will provided as well. Raffle tickets for the steer are $25.
The price of admission to the fundraiser is $20 which includes a fish dinner. Reserved tables may be purchased before the event for $500. The $500 includes six meal tickets and $100 worth of raffle tickets.
The event is hosted by the UAM Forestry Club and sponsored by Campbell Global LLC., Georgia-Pacific, Plum Creek and Price Companies.
