Sue Broyles, 78, of McGehee, died Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Pinewood Nursing Home in Crossett.
She worked at DanTan Company for many years before retiring. She was a longtime member of South McGehee Baptist Church, loved watching the Arkansas Razorbacks, fishing and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Mrs. Broyles was born on December 9, 1936 in Yell County to the late Clarence E. and Elsie French Cooper.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Broyles; brothers, Billy Cooper, Dan Cooper, and Jimmy Cooper; sisters Missy Hendrix and Pam Cooper.
Survivors include son, Brent Broyles and wife Kelli of Branson, Missouri; daughter Melissa Langley and husband Herman of Fayetteville; brothers, Don Cooper of Sheridan and Paul Cooper of London, Ark.; sisters, Diane Nichols of Crossett and Earline Hunsucker of Star City; grandchildren, Haley Terry, Colby Irons, Lane Irons and Mason Broyles; great-grandchildren, Maddy Terry and Gannon Terry
Visitation will be May 23 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee. Funeral services will be held May 24 at 2 p.m. at South McGehee Baptist Church with Rev. Matt Mitchell officiating. Burial will be at Watson Cemetery in Watson.
