Sue Evelyn Brennon, 55, of Hamburg, passed away on Friday, April 13, 2018, at her home.

She was born on April 9, 1963, to Charles Turner and Minnie Fay Brantley Brennon.

She grew up a member of the Pine Forest MBC family and recently was a faithful member of Level Ground Fellowship Church. She worked 11 years at the Hamburg shirt factory until its closure and worked as a CNA at the Pinewood Health and Rehabilitation Center for 10 years. She received an Associate’s Degree from the University of Arkansas at Monticello.

Sue was a hard-working single parent, who loved her children dearly and often had to wear the hat of mother and father. She enjoyed fishing, crocheting, and spending time with her family and friends. She had a heart full of love for everyone and was looking forward to meeting her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her special friend, Bill Nelms.

She is survived by one son, Daniel Brennon and fiance’, Christina Hartness, of Crossett; one daughter, Tara Hall and husband, Hunter, of Little Rock; three granddaughters, Elayna Cameron, Eleanor Hall, and Raegan Brennon, and one on the way; two sisters, Karla Addington, and Karen Haas and husband, Timothy, all of Crossett; one brother, Charles D. Brennon and wife, Rebecca, of Farmerville, Louisiana; along with a host of special nieces, nephews, aunts , uncles, and friends. Her family would like to give a special thanks to her caregiver Sabrina Tanksley and her husband Dwayne.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, April 16 at 2 p.m., at the Level Ground Fellowship Church, 1552 Highway 52 W, in Crossett with Pastor John Martin officiating, followed by an interment at Sims Cemetery under the direction of Medders Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Randall Harris, Dwayne Tanksley, Jim Pollock, Bill Rice, Matthew Haas, and Stephen Haas. Honorary pallbearers are Bro. Donnie Dubose, John Hall, and Josh Brennon.

Visitation will be held Sunday, April 15 from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m., at Medders Funeral Home, located at 1564 Hwy 52 W, Crossett.
