Tebo T. Tarlton, 96, of Dumas, passed away on January 11, 2016 at Pine Bluff.

Mr. Tarlton was a Baptist and served in the United States Army during WWII. He retired from C& L Electric Co-op where he was the right-of-way foreman.

He was born in Lincoln County on February 13, 1919 and was the son of the late, Therman Tarlton and Elizabeth “Lizzie” Leonard Tarlton. His brothers, Billy Jo and Curtis Tarlton, a sister, Evelyn Pearson, grand granddaughter, Lauryn Bolling and daughter, Betty Pattilo Watts also preceded him in death.

Survivors are his wife Betty Madalean Tarlton of Dumas; four daughters, Katherine (Bill) Broyles of Tichnor, Brenda (Dallas) McCuan of Tillar, Penny (Ronnie) Penix of Star City and Shirley Ballinger of Star City; a son, Franklin (Tammy) Healey of Dumas; a brother, Bobby (Mary Nell) Tarlton of Gould; grandchildren, Stacie (Health) Branson of Star City, Kathy (Chris) Yarbrough of Tichnor, Terri (Earl) Steinman of Star City, Stara (Jeff) Bolling of Tillar, Kristal Broyles of Tichnor, Tonya (Tony) Nolan of Crossett, Bradley (Jenna) King of Star City, Reagan Healey of St. Louis and Abby Healey of Little Rock; 15 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Visitation held on January 13 from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Griffin Funeral Home in Dumas. Funeral services will be held on January 14 at 2 p.m. the funeral home with Rev. Don Borland and Rev. Jerry Starnes officiating.
