Terry Lynn Barley, 53, of Dermott, passed away on April 12, 2014.
Mr. Barley worked at Paul Michael’s for four years and formerly owned and operated B&B Construction. He was a member at Temple Baptist Church. He loved his family and loved wood working.
He was born in Dermott on July 29, 1960 and was the son of Jean McCarver Barley and the late Wayman “Buck” Barley.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Ray Barley; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. L.L. McCarver and Mr. and Mrs. Wiley Barley; and his mother-in-law, Frances Hackett.
Survivors include his mother, Jean Barley of McGehee; brother, Wayne Barley of McGehee; sisters, Deborah Findley of McGehee, Sharon Barley of Watson, and Theresa (Curt) Morse of McGehee; his wife, Faye Barley of Dermott; father-in-law, Henry Dave Hackett of Dermott; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be April 15 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee. Funeral services will be held April 16 at 1 p.m. the funeral home with the Rev. Jody Gannaway and Rev. Bob Franklin officiating. Burial will be at Portland Cemetery in Portland.
Pallbearers are Lance Vernor, David Mills, Randy Griffin, Joey Cale, Jimmy Yother, Kevin Mills, Keith Barley, and Dean Barley. Honorary Pallbearers are Paul Michael, Tony Mills, Jerry Franklin, Walter Franklin, Bobby Harper, Brandon Harris, Kevin Barley, and Henry Dave Hackett.
