Non-credit courses in topics ranging from Thai Cooking to Basics of Floral Design will be offered this fall by the University of Arkansas at Monticello’s Department of Community Education.

“We have a lot of exciting new classes for the fall semester,” said Memorie Dickson, program coordinator. 

The new offerings include Thai and Japanese cooking classes, Basics of Floral Design, Introduction to Social Media, Deco Mesh Wreaths, Video Marketing, exercise classes for kids, Tree Care 101, Tree Identification, Jazz Guitar and Theory, French Culture and Elementary French, Handgun Self Defense, The Active Shooter Threat, a course on the U.S. Constitution, and Movement Through Yoga, Dance and Trager®.”

Other classes for fall 2013 include Shooting Portraits with Artificial Lighting, How to Take Better Photographs, Photoshop, and iPhone Basics.
