Theresa Smith Carter, 59, of Crossett, passed away on June 9, 2014.
She was a homemaker and a member of Judson Missionary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Carter was born on November 23, 1954 in Natchez, Miss. and was the daughter of the late Billy Gene Smith and Etta Anita Page Smith Bradley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Gene Smith, Jr., her step-father, David Thomas Bradley, and her grandparents.
Survivors include her husband, Richard N. “Rick” Carter of Crossett; two sons, Richard Jason Carter (Sheila) of Greenbrier and Justin Neil Carter of Hot Springs; a daughter, Amber Michelle Willink of Crossett; a brother, David Smith of Meadville, Miss.; a sister, Deborah Ann Sullivan (Bo) of Meadville, Miss.; six grandchildren, Elizabeth and Mary Willink, Grant and Hannah Carter, Braden and Ashlyn Jones; a special friend that was like a sister, Marion “Moocat” Leggett of Meadville, Miss. and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held June 28 at 1:30 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Crossett with Bro. Clayton Hales officiating.
