Thomas Lamar Hunter, 77, of Wilmar, died July 29, 2014 at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock.

Mr. Hunter worked for Burlington Industries in Monticello for 15 years and owned and operated Lamar Hunter Blueprints in Wilmar for more than 30 years. He loved and played country and gospel music for years and was a member of Pauline Baptist Church.

He was born August 10, 1936 in Bradley County and was the son of the late Thomas Ardel Hunter and Bertha Ada Dearman Hunter.

Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Howard Hunter and Aubert Hunter, and two sisters, Elsie Lavouncher and Eva Jane Weber.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Kulbeth Hunter; a son, Timothy Ray Hunter and wife Sherry of Harrison; a daughter, Ginger Diane Hamil and husband Tommy of Monticello; three grandchildren, Lexy Meeks, Blake Hunter and Emily Crunkleton; and two great-grandchildren, Rylee Meeks and Judd Meeks.

Private family services will be held by the Hunter family. Arrangements by Frazer’s Funeral Home in Warren.
