Thomas McFalls, 87 of Dumas, passed away on July 30, 2017 in Star City.

He was a member of First Baptist Church in Dumas and a serviceman for C&L Electric for 64 years. He was a member of Todd Hunting Club and a 1949 graduate of Star City High School.

Mr. McFalls was born on December 11, 1929 in Lincoln County to the late Palmer A. and Maude Buck McFalls.

In addition to his parents, Mr. McFalls was preceded in death by a daughter, Jo Carol Burnett; four brothers, Russell McFalls, Robert McFalls, Phillip McFalls and John McFalls; and two sisters, Ruth Carter and Katie Ann Hughes.

Survivors include his wife, Onita Ollar McFalls of Star City; four daughters, Charlotte (Larry) Burnett of Dumas, Cindy McFalls of Lowell, Connie (Ray) Lenderman of Dumas, and Camille (Marty) Chambers of Glendale; a brother, Vernon “Skeeter” (Sue) McFalls of Searcy; a sister, Bobbie Sue (Leroy) McBryde of Palmyra; eight grandsons; two granddaughters; four great-grandsons and four great-granddaughters.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 2 at 10 a.m. at Griffin Funeral Chapel in Star City with Bro. Brad Elrod officiating.
Visitation is Tuesday, August 1 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Drake Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Thomas Burnett, Chris Howard, Phillip Tucker, Jr., Jerry Tucker, Daniel Tucker, Robert Burnett, Lance Howard and Josh Chambers.
